Did you know that January is California Restaurant Month? The entire month is dedicated to celebrating restaurants and creative dishes across the state. In celebration of this month, I would like to highlight my hometown of Temecula, California and offer tips on restaurants that you will not want to miss!

🌟 Temecula Valley Wine Country – What you might not know…

Temecula Valley Wine Country is widely known for its scenic vineyards, award-winning wines, and experiential wineries. Wine Enthusiast announced that Temecula Valley is the best wine-related travel hotspot that offers something for everyone! Temecula Valley Wine Country was listed among their top 10 boutiques, emerging hidden gems. The destination is the only California city that was selected, and California was one of only two North American states among the list.

A hot air balloon ride is one of the many activities you can enjoy in Temecula Valley!

Temecula Valley Wine Country Restaurant Month – What to expect…

During Restaurant Month, you can immerse yourself in all things culinary, such as farmers’ markets, special chef events, cooking classes, wine and brewery tours, and spirit tastings. Temecula Valley’s wealth of fresh, local ingredients paired with innovative chefs, farmers, and culinary artisans means consumers can enjoy the cuisine as diverse and robust as the region.

Here are some of the restaurants that will be participating and this exciting chance to sample the “The Burger”:

  • Devilicious Eatery – Burger: “The Craft Burger” – A brisket, short rib, and Angus beef patty, bacon jam, beer, cheese sauce, chipotle aioli, crispy bacon, on a pretzel bun
  • Mad Madeline’s Grill – Burger: “Triple 333 Burger” – Handcrafted classic artisan, 1000 Island dressing, 1/2 pound certified Angus beef patty, sweet relish onion jam spread, seasoned pork belly, four types of cheeses, marble crumbled blue cheese, straw onions.
  • South Coast Winery Resort & Spa – Burger: “The Classic” – Swiss cheese, bacon, arugula, pickled onions on a brioche bun.

  • Matty G’s Steakburgers & Spirits – Burger: “Red Card” – Two classic steak patties, Ortega chili, cream cheese, jalapeno, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, spicy ketchup served on a brioche bun.
  • 1909 Temecula – Burger: “Burger” – A fully stacked burger is made with an 8 oz. special blend patty. Served with house-made bacon onion jam, sharp white cheddar, tomato, wild baby arugula, garlic aioli all placed on a brioche bun.
  • Toast Temecula – Burger: “Toast Burger” – A special Chef’s blended patty, smoked cheddar, avocado, crispy bacon, tomato, and red leaf lettuce served on a brioche bun. Topped with a bourbon maple bacon aioli and topped with fried red onions.

  • Garage Brewing Company – Burger: “Cheeseburger Fry Pizza” – A cheeseburger fry pizza made with red sauce, cheese, beef crumble, more cheese. Topped with fries baked in a fast-fire oven.
  • Mount Palomar Winery – Burger: “Palomar Burger” – Angus Beef, provolone cheese, thousand island dressing, blue cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and caramelized onions served on a brioche bun.

  • Earth Bistro – Burger: “Italian Mob Grass Finished KETO Burger” – Organic portabello cap, grass-finished patty, organic basil pesto, organic grilled red onions, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes.
  • Avensole Winery – Burger: “Hangover Burger” – Grass-fed Angus beef, bacon, egg, potato galette, jicama, salsa verde, shallot aioli served on a Hawaiian bun.

  • Baily’s Old Town Temecula  – Burger: “Jalapeño Popper Burger” – Baily’s Old Town makes their own patties by grinding filet of beef tenderloin and then mixes in diced bell pepper and sautĂ©ed onion, topped with a cream cheese mousse and fried jalapeño slices, all stacked between a fresh made brioche bun.
  • Lobby Bar & Grill at Pechanga Resort Casino – Burger: “Bistro Burger” – Fresh ground beef, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, red onions, applewood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. Turkey burger or Vegetarian burger options can be accommodated too!
  • Crush & Brew – Burger: “Crush Burger” – A special Crush & Brew burger blend, pancetta, brie, balsamic fig chutney served on a brioche bun.
