A wonderful, upscale restaurant at the Denver Art Museum.
I was looking for a restaurant that would have good food, upscale environment, and would be situated close to the Denver Art Museum. Palettes is the place! Palettes is esteemed Chef Kevin Taylor‘s restaurant. It is the first chef-driven museum dining concept in the nation. The restaurant has an innovative menu. I was also very pleased with the sleek modern feel of the interior design as well.
Location:
The restaurant is located on the museum property near the front entrance.
Décor:
The décor is modern with grey and light earth tones. The interior honors the contemporary scheme of the Art Museums architectural building design. There is indoor seating with expansive windows and outdoor dining as well.
Menu:
We were there for the brunch menu which offered a nice variety of different choices. We ordered the carrot & ricotta tortellini, with English peas, tomatoes, honey mushrooms, covered with a rich chardonnay herb cream sauce and the Palette’s cobb salad. Both entrees were delicious. Though I would highly recommend the tortellini dish!
Service:
The service was very good and our waiter Leigh was attentive and friendly.
Restrooms:
The restrooms were very nice and clean and well maintained.
Final Thoughts:
Palette’s is a wonderful place to have a special lunch, especially when you are spending time at the beautiful Denver Art Museum. I highly recommend the Tortellini dish.
5StarTip🌟: The brunch menu offers bottomless mimosa’s! Enjoy!
Palettes at the Denver Art Museum rates an #Always5Star: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cheers!
