Final Thoughts:

I personally have always upgraded to the Regency Club Lounge at any Hyatt property that offers this experience. I find the lounges to offer a welcome respite from business, leisure activities, etc. They are usually located in a part of the hotel that has wonderful views. This Washington D.C. location is no exception.

During my four night stay, the food presentations were different each evening . I was pleasantly surprised at the level of appetizers that were offered. If you are not careful, you could easily make a meal from what is provided! The food is prepared and delivered from the Article One kitchen and is excellent. The desserts, served at the end of the evening, are definitely worth trying. If you happen upon the chocolate chip cookies, don’t pass them up. They are delicious!!

The other advantages to the lounge is having an area for business/computer usage and to print your airlines boarding passes, etc. The lounge also offers a concierge service, which helps avoid standing in line at the concierge desk downstairs. I love relaxing in the lounge at the end of the day with a glass of the house “Canvas” chardonnay in a comfy couch while having conversations with friends, family, or colleagues. I have met many people over these past years, including employees, that I now count as my friends!
