Download the Uber app and Register your card:

When American Express Platinum card members register their card with the Uber app, they will receive a $15 credit each month for rides in the U.S. With a larger credit of $35 in December, the total amount per year is up to $200. An additional bonus provided to cardmembers is receiving Uber VIP status (where available). This does not require any minimum ride requirements. This will create that VIP 🌟Always5Star experience!

Here are the 5StarTips 🌟 steps to register your card:

🌟 Download the Uber application onto your phone (you can skip this step if you are already using the application).

🌟 In the left top corner of the app, use the pulldown menu to select your account profile. Then choose the “Payment” option.

🌟 Under the payment tab, choose the “Add Payment Method” option:

🌟 Then select the “Credit or Debit Card” option. Enter your American Express Platinum card information. Be sure to save the information before exiting.

🌟 The $15 credit per month is now available. Note – To receive your credit, you must choose an American Express Card if you have multiple credit cards in your profile.

I use Uber frequently, so this has been a great benefit. To receive the full $200 credit, you must use Uber at least once a month.
