To celebrate California Wine Month – Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association has created a fabulous annual event known as CRUSH!

This fantastic event highlights 30+ Temecula Valley member wineries in one location.

I had the opportunity to attend CRUSH for the first time this September, and I will be putting this event on my calendar every year. This is a rare opportunity to taste award-winning wines from several of the Temecula Valley Wineries.

Also offered are culinary delights from local Temecula restaurants and caterers.

The dish pictured above was offered by Devilicious Eatery in Old Town Temecula. Don’t tell anyone….but I might have gone back for two servings. Yes, it was that good!

I arrived right when the event started. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the views of the sun setting while enjoying a glass of bubbly.

Several wonderful sparkling wines were offered at this event. As one who loves bubbles, I can say that Temecula produces several excellent choices.

CRUSH is also an opportunity to socialize and meet winery owners, winemakers, and chefs. The atmosphere is very open and friendly. As the evening progressed, and good wine was being poured, the air was filled with laughter and fun. I am certain that everyone who attends will have a great time.

Live music filled the air and was appreciated by all. Excellent wine, cuisine, music, and good people, all make for a fabulous evening.

It was with sadness that the evening had to come to an end. However, I made many new friends, learned so much more about the wines and food in Temecula…and I left knowing that I will be attending again next year!

🌟 Purchase your tickets well in advance. This event has become quite popular, and tickets tend to sell out quickly.

🌟 Plan for a van, driver, or make arrangements with Uber or Lyft. It is lovely to enjoy tasting wine, but it is important to be safe too.

🌟 Arrive on time. Not only because you will have more time to enjoy this event, but it is an excellent opportunity to catch the sunset and views of the vineyards too.

🌟 Arrive hungry! There are so many great dishes that you will want to make sure and try them all.

🌟 The dress is mostly “resort casual.” Bring a sweater just in case the temperature drops! Wear comfortable shoes. You might just feel like dancing the night away. It is so much easier with a pair of comfortable shoes or sandals.
