Perched on a ocean side cliff sits the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay Resort. Inside this beautiful resort is a wonderful spa that will be sure to create the relaxing and much deserved break we all need!

Whether staying at the resort, or if you happen to live or be staying near by, the spa is a wonderful way to spend the day.

The facilities offer several wonderful features. There is an extra large co-ed Jacuzzi which has a cozy fireplace. The lighting and the setting are perfect to meet up with your significant other and relax before or after a spa treatment.

The spa offers plenty of towels, waters, fruit and nut snacks.

The ladies locker room is large and offers robes, slippers and a private dressing room if you prefer.

There is plenty of sink and counter space to utilize before or after your treatment. Several amenities such as hair spray, brushes, hair dryers, q-tips, cotton balls, etc., are available. The ladies locker room is well-maintained.

Along with sauna and steam room, there are showers in both the gentlemen and ladies locker rooms.

The spa has a full-service salon with 13 treatment rooms. What I truly appreciated is the adult only design. The various rooms are created to allow you to rejuvenate in a calm and peaceful setting.

Both the gentlemen and ladies areas also provide separate Jacuzzi’s for a more private experience.

One of my favorite places in the spa was the relaxation room. A wonderful place to relax before and after a spa treatment. The low lights, soft spa music, warm fuzzy blanket and the fireplace during a winter stay was perfect before my treatment.

I booked a Swedish massage and a couples massage the next day with my husband. We really enjoyed the experience. On both occasions, we had wonderful therapist(s) and came from our treatment with a feeling of deep relaxation in our minds, bodies and spirits!
